Request a website content or layout update

Provide approved copy, assets, and a clear way to verify the result.

Show the current and desired result

Include the exact page and section to change. Supply the final approved wording instead of asking the team to infer it from several email threads. For a layout request, describe what visitors should be able to find or do more easily.

Prepare the handoff

  1. Provide the page URL and replacement text.
  2. Attach approved images or logos and confirm that your business may use them.
  3. Identify links, button destinations, and relevant contact details.
  4. Include a desired publication date and approver.
  5. Explain how the change should appear on mobile as well as desktop.

If a pricing, policy, or legal statement is changing, have the appropriate business owner approve the wording before publication.

Agree the scope

A small content edit and a new feature can involve different work. Describe required behavior separately from visual preferences so the team can confirm effort, dependencies, and any additional approval needed.

Review the completed update

Check the published page, mobile layout, links, and forms involved in the change. If an old version remains visible, record the browser and final URL before requesting another deployment. Keep corrections in the original ticket so the team can compare them against the approved content.
